Award-winning British textile designer and artist Selina Rose has been creating 100% wool felt textile surfaces for residential and commercial interiors for 20 years.
Carving and manipulating felted wool, Selina sculpts relief, patterned surfaces that create a sense of movement, play with light and shade and invite the touch.
Selina’s signature compositions of pattern, colour and materials result in unique architectural, statement interior surfaces.

STUDIO ETHOS
Our studio prides itself on working exclusively with natural textile fibres. Our felt is made from 100% merino wool and we use organic cotton thread in the production of our products.
We believe in a environmentally conscious design practice, introducing only carefully considered renewable objects into the world. Each piece designed for longevity - durable, designed and made to last with a timeless aesthetic and designed for circularity.
Our material driven practice focusses predominantly on wool and celebrating the environmental benefits that are inherently built into this material. Wool is a renewable, biodegradable and sustainable fibre. Wool fibres are naturally insulating, moisture repellent and inherently flame retardant. Durability, strength and breathability develop naturally within the structure of merino wool fibres.
At the end of its life span wool can be recycled and at end of use it easily biodegrades releasing valuable nutrients back into the earth regenerating new pastures, making it an environmentally sound choice for interiors.
My purpose as a designer-maker has always been to create the kind of textiles that I wish existed, both aesthetically and environmentally.
PRODUCTS
Our product range includes screens, room dividers, acoustic panels and rugs, along with a range of felt homewares.
Selina works with interior designers, architects and private clients to create bespoke site specific designs.
Clients include BBC, Coca-Cola, Heals and Arup.

Wool can be re-used, recycled, repurposed and safely biodegrades releasing valuable nutrients, regenerating, restoring and creating a fertile land for the future.
